Thank you all who participated in our Back to School Sustainable Uniform Sale. This September’s Sale was by far our most successful Sale to date!

Meet our Junior Librarians, who have recently been appointed into this new role at BISB. After an extensive application process, these Year 5 and 6 students have been selected to promote reading throughout our school.

Last Thursday, parents from Primary had the chance to meet for an informative presentation by Louise Russell, Primary Personal Development and Wellbeing Leader during the first Parent Academy session of the Term.

The Hungarian and History year 13 groups both visited Recsk as part of a cross-curricular activity, brought together by our common topic of the Gulag, a former forced labour camp from Hungary's communist era.

Peter Rónaszéki, our school photographer, will be in school from 26th  September – 4th October to take class and individual photographs.

Our Primary school students were all too happy to host the visit of the creator of TimesTablesRockStars (TTRS), an app used in Primary to improve the fluency of children's multiplication and division facts.

This year, as always, we think it is important to surprise our students with something new, so every month, we organise a theme day in our kitchen.

Congratulations on making the first day of our Back to School Sustainable Uniform Sale series the most successful Sale to date. We served more customers, recirculated more uniform and raised more revenue in one day than we have at any of the previous two day Sales series.

Three weeks in, and the school is buzzing with energy and excitement!

Our Year 13 students have been researching hard at the beginning of the school year, formulating ideas and conducting preliminary secondary research for their Internal Assessment research projects.

We're thrilled to announce that the instrumental program at BISB is back in full swing! Instrumental lessons provide a holistic educational experience, blending intellectual, emotional, and physical development.

Year 7 have completed their unit on Science Safety and, on Monday, were asked to show their learning by analysing a fictitious set up in one of the laboratories.

The Careers and University Counselling Office is excited to share upcoming visits from several noteworthy international universities.

In the last academic year, the PTA organised a charity gala evening for fundraising to support the Igazgyöngy Foundation. Igazgyöngy's primary goal is to help poor and underprivileged children.

The CanSat competition has become an event providing a unique opportunity for student teams to design, build, and launch a soda can-size satellite (CanSat) designed to meet specific mission objectives.  (ESA, MANT – Education -)

Throughout both primary and secondary school, we have a wide range of Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) available for Term 1 and we welcome your child's participation.

The Secondary Play CCA has chosen, cast, and started rehearsals of their upcoming December production.
