This week students of Years 7-12 participated in the EU Code Week. Participating in the Code Week competition has significantly contributed to the development of their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

After five years, the long-awaited Nord Anglia Global Games Europe U19 Football Tournament returned to BISB.Six teams represented their schools from all over Europe: Ireland, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

Last Thursday the Year 2s visited the Breier Farm and Apple Orchard in Pomaz. Mr. Breier kindly invited us to see the animals at his family’s farm.

Once again, for another year, I am overwhelmed by the motivation, energy and dedication of our families to get involved in the Walk to School Week challenge, and it has been wonderful to see happy faces on our children as they’re walking, scootering, biking, dog-walking and ‘park-n-striding’ to school every day this week!

Last week our year 13 Hungarian literature class headed to the Pest side of the city to explore the lives of József Attila and Radnóti Miklós.

From September 18th to 22nd, we celebrated Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Week at BISB, commemorating the global initiative born in 2012 to address urgent environmental, political, and economic challenges.

Year 7 have been showing their understanding of the Atoms topic, by devising games to help each other.

Each week, a fantastic group of students (and Ms Walton and Ms Croft) weave their way up the craggy forest paths and explore the wonderful trails.

On Wednesday 20th September our U19 Girls’ Football team travelled to Lycée Français Gustave Eiffel de Budapest school to play their first match of the season.
